Rules
10 games, plus playoffs for the top 4 teams. Regular season games will be 2 - 25 minute running time periods, 5-minute warm-up and 1 minute intermission. There will be stop time in the last 2 minutes of the 2nd period if the score is with-in 2 goals or less. Teams must have a minimum of 4 skaters and a goalie dressed and ready to play by the end of the 5-minute warm-up or the game will be a forfeit.

After the 2 games are completed, rosters must be submitted and will be closed. No additional players will be allowed to be added or permitted to play for that team other than players on the roster. Players will not be allowed to play for more than one team in a division. Players may be permitted to play in 2 divisions as long as they are only one division apart (ie. A silver player may play gold or bronze. The disadvantage to this is the lower level team may be bumped up after adding such a player and the player would have to choose the team he/she wishes to play for). All teams will be required to wear matching jerseys with a minimum 10" number displayed on the back. In the case 2 teams have the same color, bibs will be supplied for the visitor team.

Player and goalie stats will be posted on the web site and at the arena. Teams are responsible for submitting the correct player to the number that will be used for stat purposes. All players and coaches must be registered with USA hockey in-line. Cost for the year is $25.00.

For all rules refer to the official USA Hockey Inline Rules book. An official book is available upon a request at the Cage Hockey office.

Penalties
If any one player receives 3 penalties in a game he/she will be ejected for the remainder of that game at the time of his/her third penalty is called.

Fighting
A major penalty shall be assessed to any player who is involved in a fight on or off the playing surface before, during, or after the game. The full penalty must be served before a player is allowed to renter the league. All penalties will carry over to the following season if needed to serve the full amount of games and fines.

1st fight for each and any player will receive a game misconduct plus an additional 3 game suspension

2nd fight for each and any player will receive a game misconduct, plus an additional 6 game suspension, and must pay a $25 fine before reentering the league.

3rd fight for each and any player will receive a game misconduct, plus an additional 10 game suspension, and must pay a $50 fine before reentering the league.

Roughing With Intent To Injure
At the discretion of the referee, a player will be assessed either a 2 minute minor or a 4 minute double minor penalty for roughing. If the referee feels a player will go out of his way before, during, or after a game to deliberately cause harm or injure another player, coach or official on or off the playing surface then that player will be assessed a 5 minute major penalty, a game misconduct penalty, plus an additional 1 game suspension. The 5 minute major penalty will be served by a player of the same team who was on the playing surface at the time of the penalty.

Tie Breakers for team standings :

1st - The most points

2nd -The most wins

3rd - Head to head (who won when the teams played each other)

4th - Least goals against

5th - Most goals for

Playoffs
For any player to play in the playoffs he/she must be on the team roster sheet and must have played in a minimum of three games during that season.

Illegal Roster Challenge
If a team is challenged for having a non roster player actively playing in a game and found guilty of the charge, the game will be stopped and they will immediately lose the game by forfeit.

If a team challenges another team for having a non roster player in the game but the player is on the team roster and rightfully in the game then the team making the challenge will be charged with a two minute delay of game penalty to be served by a play on the floor at the time of the challenge.

Fees
Team Cost: $995.00 (non-refundable $300.00 deposit, full payment required prior to first exhibition game)
